The doctor has now come out and admitted he made a mistake and that the women involved only asked for one embryo and not two and that he forgot to pass it onto the person who acutally does the procedure.. but SO WHAT!! She still signed a form that said even one embryo could still split and form twins.. agghh! Taking blood for a living I see so many couples come in for hormone testing because they can't have children and it breaks my heart to hear stories like this! Some people do not deserve to have children! It saddens me to think that for crap like this some doctors may not choose to go into this field and what a tragedy that would be! It's no wonder doctors medical insurance is so high when people sue for stupid things. One would think they would be so grateful - IVF doesn't work for everyone! This story is pretty massive here at the moment. I have not heard any people hoping the women get there money thats for sure! Two kids $120,000 combined income.. gee we could be so lucky!
