Oh come on. You can't resist a good cookie, even if it does go to your thighs ;)

Darn you and your ocean walking! And yes, snow melting here is a big event in my boring life. What else am I going to get excited about? School? Ugh. Work? Nooooo :P OH MAN. Last night I was watching a show on HGTV about people living in the extreme "North"..AKA Minetonka, Minnesota, and these people were like "Omg, We LOVE being snowed in!!! We love snow and everything about it!!!1111", and my heart wept with disgust.

I totally agree about people not understanding the underlying symbolism in some of Oprah's club books. SOME PEOPLE THINK THEY'RE SO SMART, but they're not.

Pictures are worth 1,000 words, but most of them are four letters or less.

Interestingly enough, Crighton does a really, really good job at presenting a technically-sound argument and pretty much avoids any sort of head-ripping descriptions by large beasts, although he does describe a man being eaten alive at one point, so I guess he can't fully help himself.

While I would say that some of Oprah's selections are decent, sound novels, I avoid them out of principle, based on the fact that of the 50 billion people that read them, the deeper ones are probably only understood by 2% of those and the rest of the people walk around spouting off about things they have no comprehension about, but they now know because OPRAH MADE THEM DO IT. Plus, chamomile gives me a headache and cookies give me thighs.

The snow melting is, no doubt, a big event in your life, knowing your dislike for it. :) I spent a few hours walking through the low-tide ocean today out to the sandbar and collecting shells. ;)

Picture posts are better.

:P

Micheal Crighton wrote a book on global warming and other environmental terrorism? That makes me chuckle. Did it have dinosaurs and apes in it? I think a dino ripping off Al Gore's head probably would have made a better ending..or maybe that's what happened.

I'm not much for books like that. Why don't you read some of Oprah's book club NY times best sellers? :P Settle down with a nice soothing cup of chamomile tea and a cookie and enjoy.

THE SNOW IS MELTING HERE. It got up to 50 today! People were buying up all the steaks at Fareway so they could grill out.
